This product is made from natural ingredients that not only remove impurities from the skin, but also soothe and moisturize facial skin. When used daily, you will notice awesome effects – making it an invaluable product for many women.

How is it used?

  • The best micellar water is not too creamy or greasy, unlike cleansing milk, for example. Instead, it is very light and refreshing. To use it, you just need to take it a little on a cotton swab and wipe your face clean.
  • Beauty professionals recommend using micellar water in the mornings to get up. That way, you remove any excess oil that has accumulated during the night, and prepare your skin for the day’s makeup.
  • You can also keep a small amount of it in your bag to use it at any time, such as when you leave the gym or when you just want to feel your face a little fresher and more relaxed. Micellar water is also ideal for removing makeup in the evening. With a few drops, you can remove impurities and smooth out your skin. It only takes a few seconds, but it works wonderfully when you apply it to your daily skincare routines!

Ingredients

To make 1.5 dl of micellar water, you need the following ingredients:

  • 90 ml of rose water. You can buy it ready-made at most specialty or health food stores. If you know how to make it yourself, even better, but it’s not hard to find and it’s pretty affordable.
  • 3 ml castor oil. It is easily available from any specialty supply or health food store. You should buy the “sulphate” option as it strengthens the effect of micellar water due to its water soluble properties. It is effective and convenient for external use and also helps to remove stubborn cosmetics such as water-resistant mascara.
  • Vitamin E. We have talked about the benefits of vitamin E many times. It helps fight the aging process by nourishing and repairing skin, hair and nails. So it’s a good idea to buy it from a pharmacy: buy capsules and use them for different purposes. You only need 20 drops for this recipe.
  • 5 ml of essential oil made from rosehips. This is a great product! Rosehip oil repairs, treats, moisturizes and firms the skin. It is always a good idea to keep it available at home. It is not particularly expensive and like other of these ingredients, it can be used for many different treatments.
  • Obtain a 150 ml glass bottle to preserve the micellar water. It is practical in size and easily fits in a handbag.

Manufacturing

This is the easiest part. Just combine all the ingredients in a glass container and the mixture is ready. Due to the castor oil, all the ingredients combine well. Also, don’t worry if it turns yellowish in color – it’s due to the oil and is perfectly normal.

You will also find that the micellar water smells pleasant. Day after day, it becomes an important part of your beauty routines.

Use

  • Shake the bottle well before placing it on a few drops of cotton swab.
  • Apply on face before applying makeup in the morning, and again in the evening to remove impurities and makeup residue. It is good for removing mascara, eye makeup and lipstick. You can easily remove all product residues.
  • Use at any time during the day when your skin feels tired, too hot or dirty. You can even carry it in a small spray bottle to make it easier to use – micellar water is fantastic!
